Friendship Through Play
Spotty Dog Studio is a travelling art studio that aims to provide a welcoming and inclusive space for people of all ages and levels of experience to explore their creativity and express themselves through art.
With a focus on community building, the studio operates out of various community centres, youth hubs, and civic spaces on the Gold Coast to inspire creativity and foster a sense of belonging. The studio also offers NDIS group workshops tailored to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence, socialisation, and self-confidence.
Spotty Dog Studio believes that everyone has the ability to create, and invites everyone to join their community and discover their artistic potential.
What We Get Up To...
Follow along at a slow and relaxed pace as our facilitator guides the group through a step-by-step painting.
Want to get your hands dirty while you make new friends? Our pottery sessions can either be free style design or follow along with our helpful facilitator.
Our sketch/draw sessions are a mixed bag of frottage, collage, pastel and more. Each term is designed differently depending on the group.
Some of our groups have beading and weaving sessions built into the term! Make friends while making friendship bracelets!
