Spotty Dog Studio provides fun and accessible creative workshops for NDIS participants on the Gold Coast. These workshops centre around interpersonal and social skill development, all while getting creative and having fun. Groups cater to adults with disabilities and are taught by experienced teachers.
These groups can improve self-esteem, social and communication skills, fine motor skills and provide a non-verbal way to express emotions.
Sessions include drawing, painting, air-dry pottery and bead-craft, with options for one-on-one sessions or group sessions. Support workers or carers are welcome to join the workshops at no additional cost.
The cost of the workshops varies depending on length, type of workshop and how many participants are in the group. This is priced to the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Limits Guide. NDIS participants may be able to use their funding to pay for the workshops, but they should check with their NDIS planner or LAC to confirm their eligibility and funding amount.
Spotty Dog Studio also offers discounts for bulk bookings and concessions for people with low income, if paying privately.
Spotty Dog Studio is a travelling studio and runs out of the many community centres and youth hubs on the Gold Coast, Queensland.
